I am jealous of our neighbors, I want a second thanksgiving in Canada

 November 22, 2004   Comments: 0

It does not seem fair that we have already celebrated our thanksgiving holiday nearly a month ago and now we are missing out on all the celebrations south of the border. Can we not get our government to reward us with a second thanksgiving holiday?

It would make sense to get more holidays since Canadians pay nearly double in taxes compared to our American neighbors. So why not start a petitions and asks our government for doubling our holidays, could you not use an extra 4-5 long weekends next summer?.. like that?s going to happen.

If you are celebrating the thanksgiving holidays you are probably burning the midnight oil searching far and wide on the Internet for that special turkey recipe that will turn every one?s taste buds wild at your dinner table. This brings me to the Google search engine results for turkey recipe.

Why does a British site rank number 1 for this traditional American thanksgiving recipe? Well as it turns out http://www.britishturkey.co.uk/ made that cut and they should be dam proud of their search engine optimization.

A good balance of keywords in the body, internal links, and at least a few backlinks with the keyword phrase ?turkey recipe? in them was enough to beat over 4,000.000 other websites.

If you want to find out how quick and painless it is to find out why a website ranks in the top 10 for any given keyword I suggest you take SEO Studio for a test drive.
