Spammers Beware!!!!

 January 19, 2005   Comments: 0

It’s nasty, it’s evil, it’s a website owners worse nightmare, unless of course you’re the website owner who is continually annoying the rest of the world while sitting back and knowing you’re the disease that should be put to an end by lethal injection. Causing innocent bystanders countless hours, paid ones if I may add of trying to disinfect their computers and rid them of viruses and oodles of spy ware from unknown origins.

Then of course there are those website owners who are attempting to slip their links into everyone’s Blog’s in a mere chance to increase their ratings by linking to well ranking sites, ahhhhh like I wouldn’t notice foreign links on my page like where to buy cheap Viagra, okay my site pertains to Search Engine Optimization. Has the world gone mad with such erroneous tactics.

You can draft and attempt to pass legislation for all those Spam abusers until the next millennium, but will it ever truly stop. I think not with computers geniuses born and bread every 20 seconds, someone will always remain at the top of this frustrating game for inexcusable unethical business practices.

As usual Google is trying to put out fires, something Like Smokey the Bear. Yesterday I read in Google’s Blog, they are testing a new a new tag, (rel=”nofollow”). When Google sees these tags, the hyperlinks will no longer receive credit when Google ranks websites. Perhaps this will deter the underhandedness of the web based businesses to try and boost their rankings and just a plain unintelligent way of conducting business.
